To bathe dog this frequently?

I give my dog a bath about every two weeks. She sleeps with me and aside from getting dirt from outside she gets that " doggy smell". Someone told me they only wash their dog every few months! I don't think it's harmful she does not have dry skin. Is this normal?

    Once every two weeks is just fine. But any more than that could be bad. If you bathe her too often she may lose the natural oils that protects her skin.

    if they have long hair: once every week does not do any harm
    if they have short hair: once every three weeks.
    if they have no hair: stop setting your dog on fire

    Depends on the dog really. Certain breeds need weekly grooming and bathing to keep their coat the way its suposed to be. Others need hardly any.

        Hmm, I'm not too familiar with them but I do know there are short and long haired varieties, so it would depend on that.
