To be a straight a student and scared of tests?

Well even just yesterday I got 97 percent on my test. But before it was marked I still felt like throwing up and like I failed. I'm in a class of dummy's no effence but on every test at least ten people fail. I just don't know why I get so nervous is it normal.

Yeah, this is entirely normal. If you're a straight A student, you are then expected to be a straight A student, which puts the pressure on you to do well on tests.

"With great power comes great responsibility."

I think expectations rise out of that responsibility.

Well, that's what makes you a straight A student.

  • It's often those with great beauty who worry about their beauty and those with power who worry about their power.

I guess the same holds true for nerds.

    Jk

    Sort of.

Well, we know your favorite class isn't English :P

But seriously though, I think that is completely normal.

It's definitely normal. Plenty of people just have a fear of taking tests. I used to be terrified of taking tests! I wasn't a straight-A student, but I was pretty good at most of my classes except for anything math and science-related. You're sitting there in a quiet room, being watched by an authority figure, and your future in the class is based on how well you do writing on a piece of paper. It's absolutely nerve-wracking!
