To have your 7 month old pup stare gwowl & quiver at waht i can't see?

Hi everyone... I guess I am just looking for people with the same and or similar experiences. As we all have our beliefs and disbeliefs. This is my second experience with a pet, acting in such a way. It occured once with my first dog over twelve years ago, never to happen again, luckily and now the first time with my second dog 7 month old pup.
The first experience was shortly after having adopted Rusty a two year old Teddy bear faced Pom. I was in the closet with laminate flooring at our apartment, and he began to growl and do the Michael Jackson Moon walk backwards out of the closet. I could hear his nails tapping on the floor, simotaneously to the growling, as this caught my attention. His hair stood up on end and he continued to growl, and he was starring at the corner of the ceiling with his head whipping back and fourth. This never happened again. The apartments were old, and though many of them and seperate buildings I found out there had been several deaths, one in a few buildings down that of a little girl who was murdered. Then several others while we lived there (not murders.) That was in Illinois, now I reside in Wa state, and in Sept I had my sweet angel of 17 years put down. Three days later I got a two month old Pom, I named Perry. Fast forward five months he is now 7 months old. Last night we were in my condo, I have owned 8 years, which I have never had any bad experiences in. He began to stare and growl at one corner of the room. The vertical binds were closed, and thus no reflection, at night. As he had been growling prior at the slider, I wrote it all off to his seeing his or my reflection. He hid under the coffee table and was afraid to come out, I had to majorily coax him to do so. He kept starring and growling and was melting into me. Just prior we were playing and he is a very energetic and happy pup to say the least. Also in both cases I live on the top floor. No no animals on the roof, no, termites. I told what ever it was to leave and asked god to help me. I am not highly religious, non practicing Christian I would say. I talk to god often and have my own faith. I went to my moms with Perry as I was not comfortable there. Sorry for the long drawn out story. If anyone else has had a similar experience, I would like to hear from you. I know about sage, having the place blessed holy water and so on. I do not know if I will do so, unless it happens again, which it probally will? I live a clean life and do onto others blah blah, blah. Yet bad things are attracted to the good.... IIN?

I had a cat that avoided a entire level of the house, hissing at the top of the stairs every time he came around the corner. It was pretty freaky.

But then again we had other unexplainable things happen...so...yea...lol

To be honest I think you are reading too much in to it. I've had several experiences like this with dogs i've had over the years and there is usually some daft explanation for it. My dog recently started doing a similar kind of thing as you've described in the corner of our bedroom. Suddenly she was fixated on the ceiling in the corner, ran over to it, was growling and couldn't be moved - all night she just stared into the corner, and occasionally got up and stood there looking up. Admittedly it was freaky but a few days later we discovered that we had a lovely rodent colony taking up residence in the roof space and logical what she could hear was them. Remember dogs have much more acute senses then us humans so what we can't hear they can, your dog probably heard something that you couldn't - I highly doubt that an evil spirit had chosen your house as it's next abode!
