To install a bidet upstairs in a bathroom renovation to pee

I am from Australia now living in Europe. We are possibly buying a home where the upstairs bathroom has no toilet but a bath and sink only. The toilet is rather far away, downstairs, near the laundry. To save money on renovations is it ok to install a bidet for those nights u wake up at 4.30am and need potty? I do know it's a 'was your bits only' thing - and i am not talking about using as a regular toilet - just for those late night urgencies and washing ofc.

Really need this answered as i can't find anything on the net about it.

It's your house. You can install a garbage disposal, a wet bar, and a glory hole in there if you want.

The simplest solution is to piss in the sink.

You'd be much better off installing a fancy toilet with a bidet built in. They do exist

Why don't you install a toilet instead?
