I used to be very shy and introverted and quiet around other people and consequently felt uncomfortable looking into their eyes. So, I almost always looked at their mouth. Most people probably thought I was hard of hearing because of that.
Because of my job I had to interact with strangers and after years of determined effort I got over my shyness so that now I can talk to anybody and frequently initiate conversations with total strangers without even thinking about it.
I still look at their mouth a lot, but strictly out of habit. I don't have any trouble looking them in the eyes now.
Its not strange I look at peoples expressions and teeth when they talk Hey most people do .
Well .. different people look at different areas of someone's face while a person speaks like left eye, right eye, nose etc. I guess you look at the mouth .. and you just notice their teeth which there is nothing weird about, but you shouldn't be judging someone by their teeth .
