To pull my hair out?
When I'm under high stress like when my mom died I will literally pull strands of hair out. Like a satisfying release to me during those difficult times.

Not unusual, but not healthy, either. I used to do it in high school, because the back of my hair was longer and I had wings/bangs on the side, so there was enough to pull out. I'd twist the back of my hair around a pen, pencil, or whatever I had, get it into a tight knot, then pull it out. It felt good at the time even though it was noticibly thinner where I was pulling. I'd even hear it coming out as I was pulling.
I did it so much that the hot, blonde woman who cut my hair noticed, and made me a deal: stop pulling and let those spots fill in thick by next appointment, and she'd do the next cut in her tiny, orange and black bikini that I'd seen her in when I arrived at her house early for my cut one time. She knew that would work. The trade of her hot body in a bikini for my stopping pulling my hair out.
I told her yes, I'd been pulling, and even how, with a pen or pencil, and if that was our deal, her in that bikini next time, I'd stop pulling that minute. She held me to it, I didn't pull for a month (which was difficult..I had to keep my mind on the goal), and when I went back, she felt the back of my hair, running her long, red nails through it, agreed I'd stopped pulling, and went into a bedroom off of the home salon, changed into that orange and black bikini, and did my cut in her bikini and not even wearing her usual cover smock thing. I stopped pulling for good. True story.
I used to do the same when I was little. I’d rip my hair out when I got angry or something. I dont do it anymore though.
I knew a hoe whose dad died right next to her in a crash and she started pulling her hair out and ate it. bitch nearly died of clogged intestines
If you keep pulling it out, it's going to eventually stop growing back. Perhaps you should try to find a different way to get rid of stress?
This is a good opportunity to step back and realize once the hair is pulled out you can't put it back in your head
That should help you realize that sometimes our emotions lead us to do things that we might regret and that we can't fix
