To spend time alone than with others

Is it normal for a 23 year old like me to enjoy time alone than with others. I've been like this my whole life. As people drain me and having me time is awesome.

You are probably like " Yeah, that's an introvert". You're right as I am introverted... except:

I like being in extroverted places like malls and hockey arenas.

Whenever someone is way too talkative, I get like Squidward from Spongebob. An example would be someone interrupting me while listening to my music. You see, music is my version of a cup of coffee in the morning. I had this one friend who always interrupted me while I was listening to my music on the way to high school. I've told her whenever it wasn't a good time to chat, she still did it anyways!

Yeah I can kind of relate to that.I can be around people as long as no one tries to talk to me. I can even enjoy being around people although I usually don't there's definietely times when I do if it's somewhere I enjoy being doing something I enjoy doing.
I do get a craving for socializing but for me it can be enough just to go somewhere and be around others without talking to them, just observing, or just be in the same room as a family member or a friend without talking. Not everyone gets that, even my family can wonder why I wanna hang out if i'm not gonna talk, but sometimes that's all I need to fill my social batteries and then I can go back to spending time alone again.
