Toilet paper: over or under?

I can't stand when the toilet paper is hanging under. The fact that you might touch the wall with your hand after being so close to such a nasty part of your body is gross especially when you consider that there are probably nasty people who don't think about it and do rub on the wall. Then there are the people who just touch all over the roll with their germ covered hands to find the end.

Doesn't it make way more sense to have it hanging over the top that way its almost always ready to grab?

So over or under????

    The way my bathroom is set up, the toilet paper roll is sideways. So I have to choose between clockwise and counterclockwise.
