Uh oh i think i sleep walk and pee unconsciously!?!

Alright so is it normal to go piss on the floor in the middle of the night with out consciously knowing that you are doing it? I am in college and occasionally I have pissed on the floor in my dorm room. Either by the door or the closet and I find the wet spots when I wake up in the morning after a night of intense beer drinking. It happens even when im not that sh*tty. I think its like some sleep walking condition cause i never even remember getting out of bed an doing it. Another thing i should mention is I sleep naked. when im about to go to bed I take everything off and its skin to sheets. But, i never piss the bed of course its always just a puddle on the ground somewhere in my room. Is this normal? Am I the only one? HELP!

Sleep walking is pretty common and usually doesn't require treatment -- although treatment is available.
If you feel bashful about it, you might want to invest in pajamas.

Lengthy story but worth the read...

So Me and 3 buddies are backpacking around Europe for a couple months. With that of course comes lots of drinking. Me and the boys will casually pound back a 15 maybe. Bout a week ago we stayed in s hostel in the Netherlands. For those unfamiliar with hostels, it's cheap accommodation for travels and weirdos were you sleep in a dorm room with 8-10 people usually. Well this hostel was dirt chesp and go figure so was the beer! Oh ya and they shoved 48 people in one room.. so long night goes by and I found myself at 4 am being woken up on somebody else's bed and was told to move.. thought I just got so messed up I couldn't remember which was my bed.. turns out when I woke up the next morning and the kind lady at reception shared the text conversation between her and her manger. The subject of the message was the so called "lake" that flooded the room. Turned out I let er rip right on some dude from Ireland. twice. Don't remember a second of it. Poor lad.. my most sincere apologies but fuckin hell ay. Next week I was in Switzerland and my buddy had to guide me out the window. Your not alone drunk beer lovers

I first became aware of this when I used to come in from a night out and my older bro was sleeping on the sofa and he would get up and pee on the fire place or somewhere around the living room where he is Lying drunk. I would have a right good laugh at until about 5 or 6 years later I started doing it myself. I pissed in my mum's room after a night out. She said in the morning that she was shouting for me to get in the bathroom were I replied that I was in the bathroom. I couldn't remember a thing about. Now 12 years later I'm still at it. I've pissed on curtains, hair straighteners and drawers to name but a few. My wife now has to sleep with one eye when I come in wasted. My mate even pissed on her while back at my house after a night out. He fell asleep at the kitchen table on the chair beside her. She jumped up and he had his penis in his hand pissing like baby with no nappy on. I had to grab him and run into the toilet and hold him until he finished. He has no memory of this at all. My mates and I had a great laugh. He still gets slagged about 10 years later

I searched this topic due to last night's episode. That brought me here, and led to creating an account cause I had to share my story: I'll get to last night's case in a minute. When I was a teenager, my brother and I shared a bedroom. I woke up in the morning for school. Being a lazy teenager, I had a pile of clean clothes on the floor that I didn't feel like putting away. I went to grab clothes to get dressed and was surprised that they were wet! I smelled the clothes, realized they were pee'd on, and I glared at my still sleeping brother, thinking he pee'd on my clothes. It didn't make sense. We didn't drink and we weren't fighting. Then I remembered dreaming that I was peeing on a pile. Then, about two years ago, I woke up to find a puddle on the bedroom floor. I looked for a fallen beer bottle, because I now drink beer nightly. Nothing to be found. My wife woke up while I cleaned up the floor, we talked about it, and she said that she woke up during the night and saw me standing in the corner of the room. I remembered dreaming that I was peeing, and I remembered seeing a reflection of the floor in my dream. It turned out that I pee'd on a framed mirror that went all the way down to the floor.
As for last night?, my wife asked me this morning after I woke up: "do you know what you did last night?" I was bewildered, knowing I didn't trash the house or anything. I had NO IDEA what she was talking about. She said "you pee'd in my sock drawer!" (I can't help but to laugh right now) When she said that, there was no surprise in me, no shock. I knew exactly what she was talking about. I thought it was just a dream. Needless to say, I washed a load of socks today and cleaned a dresser drawer with Lysol.
We talked about it afterwards and wondered if sleepwalk peeing stems from my childhood: a childhood bedwetter, we figured that getting yelled at as a kid by my grandparents for wetting the bed led to me as an adult, getting out of bed while still sleeping, for fear of getting yelled at. I may not realize that the location is wrong, but I'm not going to pee where I'm laying.
And apparently, bed wetting is inherent. Passed down to the opposite sex. My daughter has researched this and told me that 5 out of 8 kids up to the age of 12, wet the bed.

Ha my boyfriend does that all the time, once he peed in our fridge. GROSS. Apparently it's really really common. I even saw a video about it which was hilarious. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDURH16gP5w
