Underarm rash

I am a young female with this uncomfortable under arm rash that comes and goes. Im an athlete and i dont know if these red bumps appear because i am sweating or if it has something to do with my deodorant or sports bra but im insecure about it and im embarrassed to lift my arms! Can anybody help me?

    Could be various things.

    - Shaving rash
    - Yeast infection
    - Allergic reaction to deodorant or something else
    - Eczema or Psoriasis
    - Other

If you can't work it out yourself, it's best you see a doctor who should be able to establish what is causing the rash and give you advice for treating it.

I had this and it really sucked. Tried powders, creams, etc. Finally was so uncomfortable I went to a dermatologist who prescribed a cream that cleared it up in a couple of days. Highly recommend you see one.

Could be a long term reaction to your deodorant. I find the best working deodorant to be Herban Cowboy Unscented. Reason is, all these athletic deodorants contain a crazy amount of chemicals that are never a good thing.

  • I am willing to bet it is just a harmless heat or sweat rash that occurs from working out a lot. Wearing tight clothing that traps heat to certain areas will do this sometimes. It is completely normal. I would not worry about it too much.

This used to happen to me in middle school :/ I found out my skin was reacting to the deodorant I was using... Try switching to a different kind.

Many moon ago, I had developed bumpy, red, itchy, peeling bumps on my Pittsburg. It was because of a homemade deodorant that I was using at the time. It was a shame because it worked so well otherwise. Anyway, it's hey finally went away when I stop using that deodorant. I suggest you do the same and try something else.

Be careful that it doesn't turn into an abcess.

Try using unscented soap for your underarms avoid deodrants with alcohol in them talcum power is also good for this.

underarm abcesses are not fun i've had one (me is a man btw) i had to have it drained every 24 hours for 3 weeks and it hurt like a sonovabeech.

And I have seen you do it to other peoples posts. No need to act like an absolute dick.
