Unions should be illegal and we should get rid of employee rights (u.s.)

This is a capitalist society and we should go back to the 19th century when the wealthy were left alone to do as they please. Also children should be put back to work. They grow up as spoiled brats with no work ethics.

Actually that's a good idea legal prostitution would probably lower std spread by quite a margin since it would be regulated both by state and union.

You're completely right my friend. Allthough, the absolute best would be anarcho-capitalism.

I would just kill only the 1% of humans that own 50% of wealth and share it with poor people

  • I disagree with most of what you're saying, and think that allowing the rich to do whatever they want would make for an awful society.

However, I do think child labor should be allowed, but with a maximum of 6 hours per day. Most American children spend 6 hours in school, so that would leave them 8 hours to sleep with 4 hours of downtime. Sounds fine to me.

Children do grow up less spoiled if they have to work, but the child labor laws aren't the main cause of spoiled children- irresponsible parents are. Plenty of well off, unemployed kids grow up with good manners and decent work ethics because they're raised right and likely given responsibilities at home.

One of the main reasons I support allowing children under 16 to work is so that those who are being neglected by family can legally earn money to support themselves. Child labor laws hold kids back in more cases than many people would like to admit.

Unions and worker rights should exist. We don't need every job to have an insane mortality rate. Although, I do believe child labor should be allowed, to an extent. Child labor should just have strict rules pertaining to what they can and can not do and how many hours they can work maximum.

I am open to things in the bedroom, but that's a far cry from politics. Although they do correlate based on my experience which I guess is where your coming from. Fair enough I guess. I'm not mad.

Views u have ON families. Like, I dunno how to explain that
Also about ur family, of course I would think that
U wrote pretty often about how u used to be religious and how it brought u problems sexual wise, therefore meaning u were raised as a conservative Christian that was getting some issues because of that in your teenage years and breaking out of it at some point. You have not told ur parents yet, meaning the big fight is still about to come, but as you secretly broke out of it you’ve gotten a few more perspectives about the things u were dealing with. But because you were raised as a conservative you still are, with a few liberal sprinkles in those topics u dealt with or are thinking about
Alright I hope I was close to the story, that’s my analysis now

The bit about how I was raised was pretty accurate. But just because I disagree with my parents on that doesn't mean I have to disagree politically. I'm still mostly anti-government involvement, pro-gun, pro strong borders including a wall, against more taxes on the rich ect. You could say I have a liberal view of abortion which is safe, legal rare, still evil but sometimes the lesser evil. But outside of that I don't think you could even argue I'm liberal.

I'm a Brit, didn't you lot have a civil war to abolish slavery?

Yes, but culture was changed by the war. Now, everyone starts out as a slave to learn the work ethic. If you don't like doing the menial labor, then you become an aerospace engineer. That's what I did.

Honestly I'm kind of with you there. I'm in a union and they deduct $15 from our paycheques every 2 weeks. That completely nullifies the extra $0.40 an hour I get.

I work in a workers' union and I like it. It's horrible how employees are treated and threatened in the private sector. So far I've met no employees who feel safe in his/her job. Most often they are sacked for no good reasons and when the matter is brought before the industrial tribunal it takes years before they are compensated. And often they are too tired and fed up to go through this.

Heres the facts buddy. Treat your workers good you get a loyal crew. Treat them like garbage they high tail it the minute they get offered something better. As for the children thing I do think kids should be allowed and required to get a job. Though Im saying this as a person who was kicked out at 18 and wished I would have had a chance to prove I was worth it at age 11. My parents basically had me becuase they needed cheap labour and thats all I was. Free Labour who didn't get paid shit for it.

So you are ok with working in a sweatshop, for $.50 an hour and no breaks. ? You would be the first to start crying, I bet.

    • LloydAsher

Actually those sweatshops have a competitive wage with other jobs in the area. It's just really low compared to our economy. Working for $0.50 an hour would be around 5$ a day which is higher than jobs in the surrounding area.

If sweatshops didnt have a very competitive wage people wouldnt work there it's not slavery but its really shit.
