Vaginal body temperature measurement ?

When i was a kid and have fever , I remember that my mom used to insert this thermometer into my vagina or butthole inorder to measure my temperature ?

Now that i got older i think its super weird , because on google it says its better from the mouth or armpit, so is it normal ?

    It's not accurate. Ear, rectal and vagina temperatures are all different to core body temperature and vaginal temperature in particular can vary according to the menstrual phase, certain illnesses, and whether your mother looks like George Clooney.

        You missed out. The George part is the best part of the crazy old ham. Slow cook it over an open flame and "el delicioso" is brought to life!

    People used take an anal temperature reading on children to prevent them biting old school glass mercury thermometers. IIRC they now use alcohol.
