Videogame death sequences!

Is it normal that I am very entertained by videogame death sequences (especially the creative and/or violent ones)? Here are a few of my favorites:

God of War (YOU ARE DEAD)
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (GAME OVER)
Red Dead Redemption (DEAD)
Metal Gear Solid 4 ("Snake? Snake?? SNAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE!!!")
Grand Theft Auto 4 (Just generally funny deaths)
Uncharted (I forget, but they were good though)

Those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. What are some of your favorite videogame death sequences?

Killing the whore and taking her money.

I don't die, I just do the killing.

Mortal combat was pretty funny. I would punch you in the balls if you did a Babality.

Snake, you can't do that! The future will be changed! You'll create a time paradox!

The most interesting game for death sequences I've played was Baroque (PS2 and Wii). Nothing, I can remember was saved but the death played a significant role in the game. When you died, it wasn't "game over". Instead more clues about finding out who you really are were revealed. After dying and playing again, depending on how you'd die your character would embody a different spirit. It's a great game but it's innovative and strange.

It's worth playing it, but it gets kind of confusing in some parts.

    • Haha, isn't it great?!

I also like the exclamation marks that appear over an enemy's head when they spot you and the sound that it makes when that happens XD

None of these can beat being smashed by a Giant and launched miles into the air on Skyrim.

The Tomb Raider series has had some epic deaths over the years too.

Crash bandicoot! Each way you die has a different one, My favorite was that his soul/angel plays a digeridoo. "you are dead" reminds me of the song that plays at the end of a game called total distortion, I haven't played it but the song is funny

    • Oh, good one. I remember playing a couple of the Crash Bandicoot games back in the day, they were incredibly fun and I would like to get the HD collection some day soon :)

Nothing's wrong with that. I sometimes keep kicking/stabbing the hooker's dead body, to see how much blood i can get out of one sack of bones. I call it "jack the ripper".

Thank you GTA for making my sadism normal, lol.

    • I tried playing a non-m-rated videogame a while back (Little Big Planet to be specific) and I couldn't get enough enjoyment out of the gameplay because of the lack of violence. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game, but it just wasn't violent enough for me :(

Really ? I like LBP But I guess I am what you would consider a hardcore gamer. I like a variety of games ranging from kid games to hack & slash to free roam to FPS I dont think about "if its bloody enough" I think about if its fun enough. And about the death sequence OMFG BRO Have you ever played Demon Souls or Dark Souls ? When you die your like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Cuz they take all your souls when you die (Souls = Money & level up points) One time I collected over 22 million souls in Demon Souls came up to this tall old guy with a beard he beats the shit out of me with a big ass Kattana *GAME OVER 22 million souls lost* Epic Rage Quit

Yeah, I'm like that too. This is kind of an old game (the original X-Box) but have you ever played "Blood-Rayne"? It's the most kick-ass game you can ever find and the violence is non-stop! The whole thing is just a giant blood bath. It's about vampires and stuff though, I don't know if you're into that, but it's really fun. By far, it is my favorite video game...ever!
