Want to go to church

Hey, so ever so often i get this really big connection to go into a church (like something is telling me to go in). Its weird because i don't believe in god as much, like its not my first thought in the mornings. And also I'm afraid of going, in case my mother judges me, she said to me that its my choice to choose what religion that i like, but i do still feel as if i might disappoint her. What do i do???

    If you have the urge to go, then give it a shot and go. She said it's your choice. Going could either turn into something you hate and never want to do again or it could turn into something wonderful and be something you really enjoy(I've heard people who gave religion a try say these things). You won't know until you go.

    I'd go to a local church on Sunday just to try it. If you don't like it then don't go back. It's completely normal to have a desire for a greater being or an explanation for things and it's often through religion that humans fulfill this need.

    If you respect the Atheist's wager (click this -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atheist's_Wager ), I see no problem with attending church services.
