    I got 7 cats :]
    all of them are rescues!
    The first 2 i saved was from a man i once knew, that instead of taking these new born kittens to a vet..he snapped their necks and through them in the snow :[ so i went back and stole 2 Ragamuffin cats. Now it's been about 4 years since! and i love them all! i think if you are able to afford food and vet care, then go for it!

      OMG, that man deserves to have his neck snapped and thrown in the snow!! I hate hearing stuff like that. Some people really piss me off. I'm glad you saved two cats though :) I have a rescue cat, and a Siamese (my husband really wanted a Siamese, and she is gorgeous!) My rescue kitty is my baby. She follows me everywhere and is soooo lovable. I probably won't get anymore cats for a while, since these two are quite happy together, and I wouldn't want to ruin their comfort zone. We would also love to get a dog, but that may be a while, lol. So who knows, we might end up with a dog and 3 or 4 cats ;) But I don't think I could have anymore pets than that. I must always insure they get the propper care and love.

    Get one or two, but still have a normal life. You don't want that many cats

    I do too! Screw marriage and children. Cats are so much cuter, nicer, cheaper, and better in every way<3 I have two. One is a wilder outside cat we saved, and she is just so nice and adorable!! The other is a pampered Himalayan (flamepoint) and I love them both soo much!!

      That is so true, lol! I have two cats as well - a big chubby tabby and a cute little Seal Point Siamese :) I am married, but our cats are our babies, and we love them soooooooo much!! But I can see myself when I'm old - I'll be sitting in my rocking chair surrounded by my 20-some cats!!

    I have 3 cats at home.
    Cats arnt that bad, I personally think dogs
    are much more work.
    You could be the crazy cat lady if you want.
    Its normal.

    Be one! If you'd rather spend your life with tons of saved kitties, go for it. Much easier and cheaper than an extra human. :) And cat ladies cat's love them so much. I'm not one, I have a dog, Cat, And rabbit. That's it for now. But that is very normal. Im going to be an old animal lady.. Not a cat lady, but im going to have a couple of each animal. :)

    Wanted to be one since age of 8.
    At 43 with 7 cats (had 10 at one point) looks like I am well on my way ;)

    If you are gonna end up like catwoman in Batman I don't mind ;) But otherwise would anyone want that? That is my biggest fear.
