Washing hands after smoking?

Ever since I starting smoking again, I've noticed that I wash my hands twice after I get done. Is this normal or just a weird quirk?

I think that's a good habit to have. You don't want yellow stains on your hands. There's nothing abnormal about countering a unhealthy habit with hygienic ones.

That sounds like a good habit to have for a smoker. Do you brush your teeth too?

No becuase I take anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes to brush my teeth, this would be fine at home but it wouldnt fly at work. Tho at work I make sure I pop a piece of gum in my mouth. I dont know if that helps any.... : (

Gum probably helps a little bit.

As well as the smell some of the chemicals from the cigerette will still be on your hands so it's a good thing I guess, if you're going to smoke. I recently quit. :D
