    • That is true, I'm not. I'm sitting on my stoop chain smoking cigarettes in my PJs. I'm about to do some gardening though.

I want a little watch that can scan a person and tell me their likes, dislikes, and best way to deal with them. I do this already just by talking to them but this would make communicating way less effort. I also want the tube transfer system from futurama to get around. Wont need a license ever again.

I think it should go into an alternate dimension 10 hours after purchase. If it's in your hand, well too fucking bad; off you go, too.
It would quickly weed the techno freaks out and get them gone, leaving the rest of us with more room, more oxygen and less electronic devices around. Wouldn't it be nice if that person who you thought was talking to you, was actually talking to you again, instead some nameless, faceless nobody on their damn phone!

    Simultaneous voice and text input.

I think it would be convenient to voice dictate and manually add punctuation as the words are registered, as opposed to adding punctuation after the words have registered.

How about a smartphone with a long lasting battery... That would be the most useful new feature.
Like a fuel cell. You charge it and then you use your device for half a month (probably), before it needs recharging.

Normal batteries are rubbish! They go flat.

I want cloud based AI that can create interesting personalities to talk to. Sultry, sexy, shrinks, or professors, AI could make you a better person.

Teleporter Relays. No, wait. Laser guns. Ya, definitely laser guns.

    • I did not include teleportation (obvious win) and weaponry (obvious safety issues) for reasons... Come on man! Be logical!

Wouldn't a 3d printer be a safety issue? All that hot plastic on your arm, not to mention I could just print me a laser gun. And hover technology? What if I wanted to rob a store, so I did and just flew away, then while I was flying, it ran out of batteries and I fell on a car, ruining the car and killing me?

        • Yes, they all have safety issues, every one of them and especially the food printer. Monsanto's got nothin on that bad boy. The hover tech is not yet equitable for heists, but rest assured were working on it. I think it's well worth the risk myself. However if you like to err on the side of caution, just stand by a few extra decades or so while we twerk out the issues.

I plan to begin development of my own handheld device, so I'm not telling you my ideas.
But you're clearly lying. Half the poll options are total bullshit. A 3D printer, in a smartphone? Come on. A hologram doesn't even appear to be invented at all. And what the fuck is hover technology?

    • I guess you've got nothing to worry about then. But, come on! Hover technology? Anti-gravity.... The Hover board?! You've never heard of the Hover board??!
