I can't stand country music. It's a constant reminder of how boring most people's lives are, and i try not to think about how pleasureless most peoples lives are. Maybe it needs a little swagger and violence from a young brother with nothing to lose.

Wasn't country originally a predominantly black genre anyway? I thought it was closely linked to blues
Regardless though I'm not a fan whatever race the singer is. I find country music too hokey and contrived.

They even took away saturday morning cartoons and blamed some arab cult organised years ago by the chinese and gave almost all our money to china to show friendship. i want this fucking guy tortured
yeah, and you know the worst part? every single female FBI,CIA,ATF,NSA and secret service agent had to let michael from barney and friends butt-fuck them as a test of secrecy, i shit you not. i hate them all.
he's so unbelievably rich and connected, that he's involved in some way in almost all the comics and their writing is mostly michael from barney and friends, every single piece of media that is successful or cool is possibly written by him in part. i can't enjoy any comics ever again or movies, or anything. i just hate this country and israel for everything they've ruined.
everything is so beyond ruined for me, I'm never going to be the same. I just don't care what happens anymore because of them. I wish I was never born and never will be conscious ever again.

Half of country music died with Hank Williams, the final half died with Johnny Cash. Most of what's around now is anodyne shite. I think people with some angst or interesting attitude will be more drawn to making other kinds of music as there's nothing about contemporary country music to inspire them.
A person picks the kind of music they want to sing. Charlie Pride was a great country singer. What we need is more good singers with tier own voice instead of trying to sing like a past star. We have way to many production line singers. That have nothing but good looks and a fair voice.
I don't really like country music all that much, it's just not really my genre, and obviously people can't/shouldn't be forced to perform in a genre they don't like or aren't comfortable with stylistically but yes, I agree that it would be nice to see more representation in country music, as well as all music in general. diversity is a part of life, and it's time that the art we create to imitate life starts reflecting that! :)
