My parents are making me go through life like a normal person and my career sucks, I'm no good at it but they said I'm not getting anything from them if I'm unemployed. The only thing they're helping me with is an affordable rent in the garden shed out back. But I have to do all the yard work. Oh and they paid for my college.

the shed happens to have a riding mower built by mercedes. I bet YYYOOOOUUUU would like that :D

Still, I did buy an AMG badge off ebay and slapped it on my dad's lawn mower. He was pissed at first, but he learned to like it.
Now we joke about it. I go to mow the lawn and say "Dad, gonna take the AMG out for a spin" and he'd chuckle, or vice versa.

Oh, and here's a news flash: you are a "normal person". Your parents have apparently accumulated considerable wealth - by fair means or foul - but that doesn't turn you into some sort of gilded demigod who can just sit on your arse while "normal people" have to put up with loads of shit (lots of it from people just like your parents) in order to survive.
If their grandchildren and great grandchildren are to continue in their wealth, their children must understand the principles of generating wealth.

there is no rule that says the parent has to provide for their adult children, they are not financially responsible to pay for your college education. Paying your own way will teach responsibility , life is not a free ride.

Unenjoyable work is a completely pointless waste of life. It's one of the only things wealth is actually good for, not having to work. So I'd say it's not normal for parents to want their kids' lives to be wasted like that.
