Wearing the appropriate clothes
I know it's normal but people act on their clothes and are defined by their clothes. My clothes indicate how religious and ascetic I am, but they also indicate I know how to dress and how responsible and manly I am. Wearing brown flannel and a blue and yellow holey T-shirt indicates an average, regular guy who's one step towards being popular though not extremely popular, my beliefs stand despite opposition and are probably about to change. I know who I am but I don't have to hold on it, as for my clothes, I'm still a longhair and I wear a denim jacket, shoes, long hair, and a gold analogue watch, and sunglasses in the sun literally because I'm just a regular guy, I take pride in the comfortable and not quality clothes I wear.
I don't dress for the fashion or the style, my "style" is spirituality, mostly religion to the point that it invites ridicule, and being very busy and hectic, the religion you've chosen to ignore.
