That you should never accept a ring from an old man. It’s always more trouble than it’s worth.
To take the easy way and fly to your destination straight off and save thousands of lives
It has taught me that a LOTR marathon requires at least 10 hours of your time! :D
Even the smallest person can make the biggest difference. The main character that saves the world is a Hobbit. Short, hairy, peaceful folk. The complete opposite of a typical hero.
LOTR taught me to stay off the road and make your own path. Also that trees are wise and are our friends. Also that power can make anybody go mad.
I dunno, I haven't seen it in a while, and when I have seen it I'm only paying half attention.
I would say that it teaches me that hairy feet and toes are cool.
