I own a Staffie mix and she is a total sweetheart/goofball. Not aggressive at all. It all depends on how they're brought up and treated.

Couldnt agree more. I've met wussy Staffies who are afraid of other dogs and cats and hide from them :) dogs all have their own individual personalities, can't judge them off their breed.

  • Red nosed pits. They're friendly and easily trained and don't usually have aggressive attitudes toward people.

I love German Shepards, and the last few years I have actually learned and changed my mind about putbulls. I used to detest them, in reality I need to detest the owners that make these dogs so mean. I have found a pitbull to be such a loving and loyal. They are even a good one to get laughs over. My nephew has one that is dumb as a post, but has loyal and he's funny as can be. And his brother in the family is a Bull Mastif, he is a gentle and very loving, and again, loyal dog. Tho his hips are giving him issues, the Get data they have hip problems in his breed. It's sad seeing him walking.

  • Rotties are awesome. I honestly love pitbulls they’re the most underrated for such amazing dogs. It’s people who chose to use them as fighters. They’re the most loving and forgiving dogs. Pitbulls and Parolees is a good show.

We had a rotty mix. She was a sweetheart.

Not all that long ago, they were as hated as pitbulls. Most strong breeds have been through it.

      People are dumb af.

      • They really are just because they look strong doesn’t make them some wild killing creature. The most well behaved dog I’ve ever met was a rottweiler. Even when I was in college one teacher had a service dog that was one as well it was nice seeing a “mean” bread put to good use. I’m sure it changed some people’s negative thoughts. Not like they come out being fighting dogs. I’ve seen some vicious Chihuahuas things are mouthy too. All depends on the training.

So cute ♡ yeah. Most aggressive dogs I've seen are usually small ones, I don't generalise about all of them being awful.

Except pugs. I can't with pugs. So gross.

Doberman Pinschers are gorgeous, but I prefer them with their ears cropped and tails docked. I also have a soft spot for Pitbulls.

Gotta go with border collie. Brilliant, energetic, and they are excellent at picking up on your emotions.

Giant Schnoodles! They're so smart and goofy looking, but very affectionate. Rotties are amazing, too. They have such expressive faces.

can never go wrong with a well bred german shepherd. honestly i'd love to own a Doberman though but cropping is illegal here and floppy ear Dobermans are ugly as fuck

Didn't even know that was a thing. How much of the ear do they take off? Is it purely aesthetic?

usually they only take off the flap of the ear and pinnae/auricles, the dog goes under anaesthesia so it can't feel anything during the surgery. if done by a professional you'll get a pretty good looking set of ears on your dog and the dog will not feel any pain unless you went to some shady person on the street with little to no veterinary experience that's when you'll get botched crops and fuck up your dogs ears, always go to an experienced professional if you get it done. tbh i'd rather crop my dogs ears than spay/neuter because cropping is much less painful with a quicker recovery rate.

cropping can be just aesthetic if you like the look better but if you show dogs in some countries you are required to crop the dogs ears to show it, like in some parts of America you have to crop a Dobermans ears and if you don't you can't show it in conformation. it can also be medically necessary at times as well if your dog has severely injured it's ears somehow and it's the rest cut off, or because it has folded ears they need to be cropped because of severe ear infections due to folded ear dogs trapping more bacteria in their ears over straight eared dogs.

working dogs may also be cropped/docked for reasons such as hunting, herding, etc. I know a lot of people who boar hunt with their dogs crop and dock so when the dogs are pulling down the boar the boar cannot grab the dogs ears and tear it off, or the dog doesn't catch it's ears in the underbrush/thorn and tears it off itself. herding dogs like Australian shepherds also sometimes get their tails docked if they herd cows so they don't stomp the fuck outta their tail and break them

  • Intelligent? When mixed with what? I had neighbors who had овчарка (don’t know the English name) and wolf mixes and those dogs were damn idiots compared to any mutt mixed made up of domestic dogs
