It happens quite a bit more than people are willing to believe. What is more surprising; it's far from non-consensual. Just because says that a child under 16 can't understand consent, is to say that they don't know right from wrong or the difference between a lie and the truth, which we all know is scat.
I lost mine at 16. I don't feel much shame behind it. I'm still with the person it was with.
I'm amazed at the 20+ responses. Looks like people are telling the truth; good for them. I think the shift to most being older is a sign of the times. The older folks on here will tend to say younger for the most part. I know 20 somethings who are virgins; can't say I could say that back when I was 20 myself.
Why did you stop the options at 20+? It’s normal for introverts to have their first sexual experiences in their 20s.
Eighteen really isn’t old to “finally”have your first time but by the sounds of things you enjoyed it so good for you.
Also it’s weird to me when people say they did some adult thing after [current age] years. the timer realistically starts after puberty (to someone of the same age group of course), not birth… so is this guy 18 or like 30?
I'm an introvert and I lost it a 17.
What can I say? Hormones get you no matter how introverted you might be.
10. Older cousin used to comment on how nice my ass was even when I was 7, but people just brushed it under the rug because she was female. She's dead now, OD'd about 4 months ago. I haven't really had any kind of sex or relationships with anyone since. At the time, I didn't really know what was going on when she instructed me to do those things. It wasn't until much later that I came to understand what all of that meant, but the thing that bothered me the most was the incest aspect of it.
I'm a little older than most of you guys on here.
I can remember when most girls were getting married right out of high school or even dropping out to start a family.
15 or 16 year old brides weren't all that unusual. Matter of fact being a grandparent in your early 40's or late 30's was kind of normal.
Looking back, how do you think there was ever people we knew as great or great great grandparents. That doesn't happen when everybody waits until 30 to have children. By the time you become a great grandparent you're too old to enjoy them and if you live past 80 you might get to see them as little babies.
My mom could remember when families tried to get their daughters married and out of the house by 15. The guys were much older 18 before they were expected to leave. By 20 or 21 they sould have found a bride but you needed to have something to offer. A good career type job, or education, a place to live, anything that would show you are settled down and can afford to take care of their daughter.
If you were female and weren't married off by age 19 or 20 you were considered an old maid, the ultimate insult, meaning you were too ugly and no body wanted you.
I'm just glad I wasn't in my mother's generation. I am happy I moved out at 16, married young 20, had my kids and they were on their own by the time I was low 40s.
Still young and having fun!
How DARE you bring up grandparents. My grandparents are dead. How dare you insult me.
Honestly, this is quite possibly THE most horrific and insulting interaction I have ever seen on this website, and the people here, well they eat poop and fuck dogs, quite frankly. I can not believe this person mentioned your grandparents. How crass can you get?
Fucking disgusting.
I am offended by your lack of knowledge on basic spelling. Like, wtf? This is honestly some psychopathic shit right here. Only a complete psychopath will write what you just wrote.

I was 14 and she was 13.Wait - no, I was 15. She lied about her age and told she was 14 but she was 13. She turned 14 before we did it again.
Lmao already lying about her age ar 13. If I ever fuck a young girl again I gotta see ID. Ive heard horror stories where they lied and he had to explain to everyone in prison "she said she was 18"
She lied because she thought I was older. I was only 14 when we met, but I turned 15 shortly after. Back then, a year made a big difference - at least, it did to her. She figured if a 15 year old boy knew she was only 13, he would have been discouraged. I wasn't. BTW, she was the sexiest girl at the swim club that summer. Guys would honk and occasionally come close to having an accident when they spotted her walking down the street in her low-rise hiphuggers.
I never lost my virginity at a younger age, maybe I'll lose it when I'm a bit older perhaps when I get to the late twenties or early thirties.
17 with my first girlfriend/ big love. We did it at her parents place, they were out for the weekend. It was early afternoon on a hot summer day and her parents place didn't have air conditioning. Both of us were virgins.
Also YEAAAAAH BRO!!! PARTY!!! YOU SCORED A CHICK! Drinks are on you.
Lost mine in a ‘66 Pontiac in my girlfriends driveway. Actually only put it in her for a couple seconds because I leaned on the horn an woke up her father and it was all over.
I agree, Tinybird. Another thing that disgusts me is that one is not allowed to cast adverse opinions on such people or call them disrespectful names, yet it is perfectly acceptable to ridicule someone who is still a virgin at 45 or older.
Our laws do not reflect when humans are biologically and hormonally ready to bang.
I agree with the age of consent, but a 16 year old doing it with another 16 year old is totally fine in my book. It's when you get an older person into the mix that I have problems.
Well I'm sorry, I'm sorry that disgusts you, although i don't really care because I'm not ashamed of what I did
i was raped by who i thought was friend and never told anyone cause rape charges couldn't be pressed agentis her cause she was 13
You're funny, OP. First of all, how pathetic do you look to be using how you lost your virginity as a way to get attention? Second of all, congratulate you for what? Screwing somebody else is not some big accomplishment, nor is it special. That's another thing that's pitiful. You feel like how you had sex with someone is some big special thing you did that should be congratulated over. Come back when you've done something actually useful or worthy of a congratulations.
On my 21'st birthday.I got way too drunk to remember if it was good or not though.
