What am i going to do about my toenail?

Last summer my toenail turned black from walking a lot in dress shoes I guess. the black spot is now about halfway up the toenail, so the black is starting to come out of the ends. I'm not sure if it's dead skin or what. if that isn't gross enough, the whole toenail is rippled or like folded over on itself, idk how to explain but it looks like half of it is about to break off, and i feel like im going to throw up by the thought of it..i've never lost a toenail and i'm terrified if this one falls off, just thinking about it makes me want to throw up. WHAT DO I DO?!? IIN?

    The old nail is growing out and the new nail is growing in underneath. It should take care of itself if you leave it alone.

      Yeah, in the second pic you can see on the right side there is a crack under the ripple, which is why I'm afraid it's going to fall off and idk what to do if it does :((

    Look at it on the bright side, no need for nail polish on that toe.

    It actually looks kinda beautiful...

    No need to see a doctor especially because you cannot afford one due to that Negro turning the White House black with Osama-Care.

      I like it too lol I think it looks pretty cool, but the thought of it falling out is making me cringe almost as bad as that toenail cutting vid that was posted here before

    About two weeks ago now my big toe nail, which had turned entirely purple after dropping a sheet of plywood on it, fell off and I didn't even notice until I saw it laying on the floor. If yours falls off don't worry too much about it. The new nail will push on the old nail incrementally and there should be no pain.

    Kinda grody though...

    It sounds like a fungal infection. I"d suggest you see a doctor or podiatrist

      No, actually not everything requires a doctor but a common sense opinion.

    its fungus, go to pharmacy and get some toenail fungal medicine. speak to the Pharmacist, its free!
