They took them out of my local grocery stores awhile ago. I guess not enough people were paying attention to them to make a difference!
That would make sense, but the mask mandate in my county came at around the same time the arrows disappeared, or maybe even a little after, which I find odd.
Wearing my name tag at work. I only put that shit on when the district manager visits.
Cross out your name, replace it with your IIN username and dutifully wear it at work everyday.
I worked in the defense industry for many years, you wear the badge and other clip ons that'll let you know if you've been exposed.
my own personal rule is that i never operate a chainsaw after havin so much as a drop of alcohol
and theres plentya shit im comfortable doin drunk
ditto. and that rule applies to flyin planes and shooting guns for me aswell
i dont mind drinkin and guns cause its still easy to follow the rules and stay safe
it takes a lil bita thinkin and no dexterity to not accidentally shoot a gun
it takes a shitloada dexterity & concentration to not horribly injure yourself with a chainsaw
What about cleaning gutters or roof repair? (climbing up ladders and stuff)
im too clumsy for climbin anymore
i go on the roof once a year to clean the chimney but my house has no gutters
the transition from ladder to roof is a bit sketchy since its at full extension just barely on the roof and the pitch runs sideways across the ladder
i sure as fuck do that sober its 25 feet down
I think most laws are fair enough, they're not put in place cos the lawmakers hate us having fun, they're there because breaking them would be detrimental to other people or society. So I think it's just immature to break those rules.
That said, there are some laws that are immature too. Laws forbidding us from having sex in exchange for money is ridiculous. They're our bodies and it's our money, that law is based solely on prudishness. The same with cannabis, there's no good reason why it should be illegal. And there's no doubt either that the main reason these things aren't being legalised is because it's not the norm, if every other country started legalising them then this country would do the same out of peer pressure. It's pathetic.
I speed in my car and on my bike. I lane split, don't always come to a complete stop. I fish without a license, I build without a permit. I water my lawn and wash my car not on Tuesdays. I smoke weed, I bring my dog and alcohol to the beach. I am sure there are more.
I mean to be fair I myself don't take it seriously, I get told to wear one and then I take it off behind their backs so they can shut the fuck up about me having to wear a face mask.

When am I never the OP? Also I only do this litelander solely because people are going to be like " NormalJudge is that you? " and also there's no point in me commenting anonymously when people already know some of the stuff that I post because of my speech patterns. Its not like I've got something to hide you know.
Mask policy. I keep a mask in my back pocket. I dont follow them until someone makes a fuss about it. Then boom mask on. I would say it's a 5% chance someone (usually Karen's) makes a big sad about it.
Wow I cannot believe this and this is gonna keep going forever and ever.
For me personally the one illegal thing I don't take seriously is the recycling law.
There's an unwritten rule that you should wait at least half hour after eating to go swimming in order to avoid cramping up and drowning. In the US there are tags on new mattresses that read "Do not remove tags under penalty of law."
If I'm feeling especially crazy I'll eat the tags off mattresses and jump right in the lake. Weeeeee!
Opening packages along their tear notches. 'TO OPEN TEAR HERE'? Please...
This is amazing how my post got a bit popular, that's something ( wasn't really expecting this but big ups though. ).
Age ratings in movies. I photoshopped my ID to 18 when I was younger, not for alcohol or anything like that just for movies. Sometimes the stupidest things get the m18 mark.
Some of the music I like isn't available for legal purchase anymore. Secondhand copies can go for hundreds of dollars sometimes, and the cheaper ones may be in a state that's fragile by now (like heavily played cassettes). In these very specific circumstances I don't feel all too guilty about getting them through other means.
Social distancing marks and the like. Jaywalking. I do what I want. As they say
Speed limits (For me those are rough guidelines), the stupid arrows in supermarkets in corona times, wearing my mask over my nose. I know, I know... I look like a POS who doesn't care about the world and is responsible for so many deaths, but let me ask you this...
So... you need proper gear, eye protection and a mask with an active filter (good ones cost about 100 bucks) to paint a car, or work with asbestos, you need full military gear and a gas mask to work with bio weapons. But for the "Worst and deadliest virus in human history" all we need is a surgical mask, or a scarf and lots of disinfectants (That cost between 10 and 30 bucks)?! Screw that!
You have a point. But (as someone with a little expertise in this), the mask does help *significantly*. Of course, as you pointed out, it seems flimsy and dumb. It's obviously impractical to ask everyone to wear a biohazard mask, etc. But the mask is much, much better than nothing.
ive worked on asbestos laden stuff before
its totally harmless when you wet it down with a hose
I really can’t pinpoint anything. I do whatever I want.
Oh yeah, it’s illegal to own a skunk in my state. And I really fucking want one.
Outwardly I agree with a pretty standard set of rules and laws, like most people. Or maybe it’s whatever suits me at the time.
That’s a murky question.
