What are the reasons you do or do not have a profile picture?

So the ladies will dig my hair. Haha. But seriously, I post my picture if I'm given the option to.

so everyone loves dappled do they? Well, im much more lovable than him. Much more. And I'll kick the crap out of anyone who disagrees.

I don't have a profile pic because a) I'm old enough to scare people here and/or make people wonder why someone my age loves this site and b) I'm afraid that people on the internet may try to kill me.

My face is so screwed up that putting in my profile counts as trolling. And everybody needs to troll sometimes.

I have one because that's what the part of the profile is for.

I just did it because it's nice to associate a face with someone. And I didn't want people to imagine me all sexy when I'm not. So I don't give them the chance to imagine something "hot". :)

Nothing against those who'd rather be anonymous, but I like to give people an idea of just who all this nonsense comes from, haha!
Honestly, though, I do like to feel "close" to people when I talk to/with them so I'll almost always put some sort of picture of myself up & I do very much appreciate when others do, as well.

Mines the picture of the character where my username comes from. As for why I don't have my own pic up, well I'm not self-confident. And I don't want to cause a mass-panic or an ewww chorus either.

Being paranoid, and having a bad haircut.

I've had issues with stalkers (not here, by the way) so I don't reveal what I look like, my date of birth, my postcode, what my surname is, or what my middle name is (it's unusual enough to identify me). I try not to reveal my forename, either, but it's leaked out a little here and there and there are definitely people reading this who'd know it. It's certainly not enough to track me down, though.

I don't have one because I don't want people i don't know looking at me over the internet.
