What country would you move to if had to live outside of the us?

Just wondering, say you had the option to fly anywhere in the world you wanted? But the catch is: Once you fly to that country, no coming back to America, this new country is now your new home? Where else would you want to move to or live besides America?

I’d pick any English speaking country to be honest! Dont think I’d survive in a country that can’t talk or understand my language! I’d move to maybe Ireland or the Bahamas maybe?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

How arrogant to assume everyone on here lives in the USA. There are quite a few of us outside the USA.

However, if I take it as live outside my current country, then Holland, Amsterdam, area might be a good choice but I'd rather be warm and beachy so I may look at Italy, Caribbean islands, or Peru.

You're being a bit sensitive, dude. I don't live in the USA either, but i get what he means. He's just assuming, and probably correctly so, that the highest amount of users, on thise site, from any country, would be from America.

Sorry maybe you’re right. Maybe should have said “If you could live in another country outside of your own country perhaps”? But just me personally, I live in US, so thought that was enough to clarify what I meant?

Maybe arrogant wasn't the right word, presumptive maybe a better term.

However as I said, take it as ' to live outside your current country' but with the replies I got you can tell people weren't sure if you just wanted people from the US to answer or everybody, just reworded the way I did.

Doesn't matter to me but LloydAsher, brought up a pretty good point. I've noticed quite a few outside the USA especially the really active people. I wonder is it really 80% of IIN users are in the US.

Don't worry about it. I don't think it's arrogant. I just assumed the question was posed to those who live in the US.

Which I assume to be like 80% of IIN population.

It's not an illogical position to have about making a blanket statement about a post.

English is the most used language on here. America has the largest population of native language English speakers.

I already do live outside of the US, but I would absolutely LOVE to live in Switzerland. It's my favourite country in the world!

I don't live in America, just wanted to get that off my heart.
I've always wanted to go to Cuba. It's complete opposite to my home country. I would happily be a beach bum for the rest of my life and Cuba seems like a perfect place for that😁

Well, I kind of want to go to Columbia but also am not eligible right now since I can't get the booster. Perhaps I'll try in a year after my college studies are over.

Germany first, to hide under my friends bed while I find a job. Bulgaria second to Ranodon’s mansion, and probably most realistically to the UK cause no language barrier

Naw man I'm finnish american and not even I would want to live in my grandparents home country. Extremely high taxes are a no go for me. The cold is also a major issue. I'm a 0 C winter type of person.

        Damn, maybe not

I heard somewhere that "being born in Finland is like winning the lottery"

        Maybe that's not so true

Eh it's not like country specific culture. Born in America yet I still hold sisu and sauna in high regards. The UP has been good to fins.

A good ol sauna is good enough to fix any ailment.

I don't live in America but I'd either return to Ireland or go to Canada. I actually hate my country of residence but can't leave.

I do not live in the USA but if I have to live in another country it would most probably be the Seychelles: no cyclones, beaches, superb lagoon and a language I know.

I'd move to Germany, Canada, Finland, Norway, or sweden. Those seem like pretty cool countries. Especially Germany and Norway. P.s. I have Swedish, Finnish, German, and Norwegian ancestry. I'm not Canadian though.

Not all of us are from the USA.
There's quite a few countries that I would like to try living in, like Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, or US. Finland seems great to live in, but there's the language barrier ;/

Switzerland due to their gun laws. I would have chose Canada but they started banning any good guns in 2020.

A 5 shot magazine is adequate if your marksmanship is good enough. Canadians know that. They are the world's top snipers.

Its normal for you to say this older people are usually against ARs. If you go to a shooting range older people they even get mad if you shoot too fast. They want everyone to pause a few seconds inbetween shots its really weird to me. But there is also a reason every military arms the standard soldier with 30 round mags and not 5. Because 30 rounds is simply better than 5. Just because you have 30 rounds in your mag doesnt mean you have to spray and pray. You can still put rounds on target. But more rounds come in handy in situations. Reloading can get you killed

Very true, if you’re a soldier. If you’re a hunter, 30 rounds is a waste. There’s beautiful forests north of the border that are loaded with deer. Y’alls should go up there sometime to look around.

I wouldnt hunt with a AR unless I was really hungry and was desperate for meat. But personally its my go to if I hear a bump in the night or I shits about to hit the fan. I got my mags linked to reload quicker and 40 round mags. I got probably 100 loaded AR mags laying around somewhere I collect them
