It’s my first valentines ! With my very first boyfriend, I know he is planning something for me... but I’ve no idea what to get him... any ideas?
And I know what the obvious answers are going to be as In sexual favours...
But I want to get him a gift.

You probably want to get him something from the heart, and nothing is more from the heart than something cooked just for him. I like brownies meself.
I second that... Go Karting is awesome. Wish my girlfriend would get me something I enjoy.
Last valentines day she gave me a small porcelain statue of two dolphins doing a weird pirouette thing... Absolutely useless gift, but I guess it's the thought that counts...
Maybe... But I can't help but think that my girlfriend spent over an hour at the mall browsing stores, to buy the perfect romantic, sweet, adorable gift that has some hidden meaning in her mind, even if I can't figure it out.
So she lovingly hands me the silly little statue. Even if I don't like it, I like her enthusiasm and the love put into buying that thing, so the thought does count.
PS: I can't ask her to get me anything, cause all I want is car parts XD
The best gift you could get a guy for valentines is to tell him it's a bullshit holiday and you don't want anything. And then not get upset later. Every guy feels like a schmuck toting around a bouquet on Valentine's Day.
Does he like sweets? Buy him something tasty. Or better yet, make him something good.

Wait a minute. He's your boyfriend and you know nothing about him? What do you two talk about when you are together. I bet all of your conversations and activities revolve around you and what you want to do. Here's a thought, how about getting him someone who is actually interested in him and his interests. I bet that they could figure out what to get him for valentines day.
You're lucky to have a boyfriend to share Valentine's Day with while I always spend them single and lonely. I'm so jealous right now, thanks a lot for making me feel more depressed than I usually am :^(

My cat's birthday is the day before St Valentine's day so I just concentrate on celebrating the birth of my feline friend.
If you have a pet you could celebrate your pet instead? It's better to be alone than in a bad relationship.
for next valentines day you should maybe get them netflix or hulu if they haven't already got them. they both are awesome for different reasons.
Depends on the boy, lol. But i will say, most women (or men dating men) don't think guys like candy for Vday but that's totally untrue!
I get my hubby chocolates n stuff as well as a card and his valentines gift(s)
An old friend of mine got his boyfriend a nice lil wooden storage chest (was a Zelda replica) filled with all his favorite chocolates, his favorite SNES game including a mint condition SNES with wireless controllers (i provided that since i knew he'd love it and i never played it) and a pair of silk boxer shorts and his bf said "the Gaming stuff was awesome, the shorts are super cute but my FAVORITE part was the chocolate"
After that and watching my hubby tear into my Ferrero Rochers and Dove chocolates, i never forget to throw in some sweet for my sweetie on VDay <3
If you haven't been together that long (or you wanna do something small) you could try getting him a Valentine's day basket. It could include his favorite candy/junk food, a card, movie tickets, a cool t-shirt, a stuffed animal or just anything else you wanna add. You could also write him a meaningful note telling him how much he means to you. I usually write my boyfriend poems and love notes but you can do whatever you feel comfortable with
Take him out on a date day :ie go karts or fun attractions. Make or bake him something meaningfull. Get some retro games and have a videogame night. Cream his ass at (a custom made) Monopoly for the 8th time in a row! Make a custom care package of treats n things he likes...
I don't think I have ever had a valentines gift apart from an unenthusiastic "happy v day, gotta run" but I aint mad...
Something you've made yourself is always well received - bake him something, like a cake or cookies, whatever he likes.
If you're old enough to have the kitchen to yourself for a night you could make him a really special dinner.
Or maybe a framed picture of the two of you?
Since ToughLuckKid already said go-karting, how about a good, home cooked meal. I love it when my girlfriend takes the time to do something special. It's a very thoughtful and caring thing for me at least.
Buy a nice bottle of champagne for him, so you can both have a glass while you get naked and relaxed in the jacuzzi. By the way, best wishes for a happy and memorable Valentines Day!
