I'm Irish so I sunbathe in an astronaut suit and a welders helmet.
And an umbrella to keep me dry
I don't generally sunbathe as I already have sun damage in my left eye, and so I don't want to do anything that could cause me to develope skin cancer. If I'm at a pool or the beach I wear a bathing suit, 50 to 70 SPF, a hat and sunglasses.
I think tans are overrated and I would really prefer to keep my left eye. I wouldn't describe myself as fair skinned in the same way as an stereotypical Irish, Scottish or Scandinavian people, but rather I'm a light skinned person of mostly Spanish, Welsh and German decent. My skin has a more gold than pink sort of undertone. I don't need to risk life and limb, or eyeball for that matter, to conform to the narrow-minded beauty ideals of other people who can't appreciate my paler skin. Fuck mainstream beauty ideals that could cause harm to my health!
I sunbathe naked, with SPF 60. It is a wonderfully creepy way to enjoy being outside.
No need to swear tho rose. Simply asked a question, each to there own and I respect fellow sun worshippers just as I do u and the other non sun worshippers.x
I don't sunbathe. BTW, skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the USA.
Whatever I feel like whenever the mood strikes. The only given is a hat and sunglasses.
I like to get a dark tan wearing a square cut swimsuit then you can see how good a tan I got when I take it off and see my glowing white butt
