I'm thinking of starting to collect some random little things. I already like collecting Ouija boards, skeleton keys, knives, swords, and books. I want some ideas. They don't need to be things in mass quantities, either. Just nice things to have around the house.
I enjoy collecting manga books. Some of the ones I have are out of print and hard to find now. EBay and Amazon sell the same ones for anywhere to 3-10x worth what the manga originally cost.
I have not collecting anything in a while but I used to collect guitars, comic books, and magic the gathering playing cards. Chut up magic is a fun game to play...don't judge me.
Antique cameras, rocks, books, matryoshka dolls, photos, vinyl, harmonicas, Mario games, letters, chicken Alfredo recipes, and peoples life stories and memories.
Shot glasses from different locations. So far I have some US states, some Canadian provinces, Mexico, Brazil, and a few southeastern European countries. It's not like I've traveled to ALL of those places, but I've been here and there. I also have my friends get them for me when they travel.
I collect random old things. I love skeleton keys. The other house on my property still uses one. I like brass cricket boxes, old military stuff, wind chimes, owls and other birds, cast iron brickabrack, buttons, brass bells, mortar and pestels, old kitchen utensils, rocks, sea glass, old tins and cigar boxes, jeez I could go on and on. I have a nifty array of things, I think.
Very well. I have a bunch of old little oil cans and hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers and a leather mallet, glass marbles, an old watch and a camera, small books, a jar of old square head bolts and nuts, a railroad spike, small bits of driftwood and bones, a seahorse and small seashells, empty jars and perfume bottles, old bottles of liver oil and tubes of onguents, glass door knobs, most of my dishes and silverware are cute old mismatched pieces, a few ceramic kitchen canister things like flour, sugar, coffee and a cookie jar, ummm...there's more but its packed away cus I don't have room for it all so i forget what I have but its sooo exciting when I get to go through the boxes again.
Oh oh oh! I would looove to get an old epothacary cabinet. The jars are pretty sweet too.
T'would be an honor. I like when people like my stuff. Some people just don't understand my knick knacks :(
I don't have the space for all that stuff. I keep my collectibles down to books and rocks. I have an insane number of rocks and crystals. But I love old trinkets and jars and containers. I use to keep all my kitchen containers in the doorless cabinets but the roommates decided to do a rearrange and now all the ugly food boxes sit all crooked on the shelves. It drives me nuts. It looks so messy all the time.
Artwork. Album covers and movie posters. Lava lamps. Fish tanks. Black lights. Strobe lights. Disco balls.
Statues and plaques (especially of dragons), swords and daggers, manga, games, video game/anime merch, and bizarre clothing and accessories.
KC Royals things, saving the tickets, articles, items from the games, ect. That's pretty much it.

I used to collect Trading Card Games, anything Digimon related and state quarters. I don't collect anything now. If I buy something, it isn't for the sake of collecting.
I've collected all kinds of crap since childhood;
foreign coins,
knives/swords,
Pokémon cards,
comics (X Men, Sonic, Mortal Combat),
fossils,
Goosebumps books,
pogs,
bottles from the various alcoholic beverages I've damaged my liver with,
musical instruments.
Now I'm grown up, the only collections I add to are the bottles from the various alcoholic beverages I've damaged my liver with (I like 'cool' bottles), foreign coins and the musical instruments.
Anybody want to send me free stuff to add to my collection(s)?
Hats, Adventure time comics, Adventure time DVDS, horror dvds, anime dvd boxsets, Cds, various card deck series(I have everything from yugioh to Dragon ball Z), Ties, stuffed animals, games and books(Novels), Sketchbooks like all the time.
Rocks... Mangas... Felt pieces (I neeeeeeed them)... Pokemon cards (not much anymore, though)... Character beanies... Plushies (Don't worry, Chespin, I'll find you more friends besides Snivy, Munna, and Froakie. What's that, Chespin? You and your friends are getting lonely? That's why I'm trying to catch 'em all!)...
