    Elon Musk is a hero for starting a new space race!
    The man started a private space company revolution. More competition equals better and cheaper spacecraft.

    Just look at the SLS program - 23 billion for a disposable rocket. And it's not even finished... then you have SpaceX with completely reusable rockets and a much lower launch cost.

    With space races come advancements in every field of science! Go Elon! I wanna see man land on Mars and build a colony in my lifetime! Raising a toast to the man who's gonna turn us into a spacefaring race!

    I like the man's political views and value his contribution to science, but I dislike his overall aura and demeanor. He speaks a lot of sense when you really listen to what he has to say, but he says it in this "holier than thou" tone which doesn't sit right with me.

    Then again, when you have the kind of money Elon Musk does, it's a common side-effect.

    He doesn't pretend to be perfect. If Musk wants to send shit into space, more power to him. It's his money.

        He's gonna bribe whoevers in power. He gave to Hillary then was an advisor in the Trump administration. Those billionaires play both sides. But if you listen to the things he says he seems pretty conservative. Remember Trump was "inbetween democrat and republican" too when he wasnt president. He gave money to both sides.
