    Someone at my old job had a Great Dane, he was a majestic fellow, calm and friendly.

    As a child I once saw a small woman trying to walk one though and she was barely controlling him. He was rearing on his hind legs to a height higher than hers and yanking her towards the road. I got the impression he wasn’t her dog and she was just minding him but it really showcased how they are not appropriate pets for many people.
