I have a co-worker who is like this. BUT! She only starts singing if I'm within a few feet of her. She sings AT me. She messes up lyrics horribly(the songs I know) and sounds like an old, withered woman... while singing Lady Gaga... Just imagine it.... Yeah, it sounds just like that.

She also dances at me... AT me. She just stares me down and starts dancing... Badly. She does this running man/vogue/King-Kong-on-the-Empire-State-building/twist. I just don't look her in the eyes and she eventually stops. I'm always like, "Oh god! She's doing it again!". The staring me dead in the eye thing is what really gets me. If she didn't do this I would care much less.

I think she wants me to compliment her, or she just wants to show me her mad skills. She seems to want my approval... but I can't stand her selfish, moochy character. But that is a story for another day.

maybe she's just on some seriously good stuff; have you ever seen her taking pills or something?

She takes pills for certain mental problems. She never seems high or under any other influences.

It's not like she is doing a jig constantly. Usually once a night. It's not like she is super comfortable around me. She started doing this the 3rd night she worked with me. It's probably insensitive for me to say that there are a few screws loose upstairs. I only phase it like that because I'm not sure exactly what it is.

It's probably also bad for me to poke fun at the person under these circumstances, as I did previously. I just had to share my experience.

I just suffer in silence, as usual. Whistling is almost as bad, too.

Oh god, I know SO many people who think they can sing even though they can't.

One time, back at school, a friend of mine watched a concert being held by the school choir at night, and a bunch of us spoke about it the next day. This friend who saw it was praising the choir's ability, then she commented on one solo singer who she said was so bad that she and several others almost walked out. One guy who was with us said, "That was me," and we were forced to sit through a really awkward silence until the bell rang.

I felt really embarrassed for the guy, as I do for everyone else who can't sing but are unaware of it.

I try my hardest not to laugh because I don't want to embarrass them. If something's funny to me I can't keep a straight face for longer than 5 seconds.
