I read that Quentin Tarantino wouldn’t give his mother a dime because she made disparaging comments about his future when he was young.

    If you had read the followup article you would know that he has been a dutiful son and has helped her out of financial difficulties so she could maintain the life that she had..

    However, when he was younger she mocked his writing attempts and was quite clear to him that she believed that he would never succeed at it. Thus, he made a decision back then that she would never share in his profits from writing when he did become successful at it.

    Successful people in life virtually never reward the people who tried to steal their dreams and discourage them in life. Actions have consequences.

    I know next to nothing about the guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of those people who honestly believes that everything he's accomplished is solely down to his astonishing talent and hard work, and pure, dumb luck played no role whatsoever.

      He actually comes across as a total film nerd and doesn't have a giant ego in interviews. He hustled hard to get True Romance and Reservoir Dogs produced. I am sure his success isn't a result of dumb luck. He is probably autistic in reality. If he wants to give his mother anything or not is their business, who knows what she is like.

    Dana White is the same way. He probably has around a billion dollars now his mother doesnt get a dime. And she was a single mom that put him through private school where he met his connections that made him president of the UFC.

    But on other hand she went on interviews talking about how he does steroids and cheats on his wife with hookers and ring girls lol

    I always try to keep in mind that the public persona of celebrities doesn't necessarily bear much resemblance to who they really are, but I've always got a narcissistic dickhead vibe off Tarantino.

    So I'm not totally shocked that, at nearly 60 years old, he still hasn't grown out of his mommy issues.
