What do you think would happen if the internet crashed?

If the internet, worldwide was to crash one day and was not able to be revived for technical reasons I won't go into, what do you think would happen?

I think people could adapt to life without it 19
There would be chaos 53
Chatrooms would become live action instead 2
I don't know but I wish it would crash 13

    The internet cannot crash, that is such a stupid notion. However lets just say that what you are referring to as the internet did stop working, well there is actually a second internet (technically the 6th internet)which most people do have access to now although hardly anybody uses it. I guess most people would start using that one which they probably should do anyways within the next few years.

            A lot of my friends are website designers as well so they would be fucked. My career doesn't really rely on the internet so I could just keep doing what I'm doing.

            Well people would be pissed at first but as long as telophones and the postal services still worked I'm sure people would get a long just fine.

    If the internet crashes, companies would lose billions and billions of USD, Euros, Franks...
    That will be the last nail in the Economic crysis coffin!
    If the internet falls, the economy as we know it falls too! Then come the riots and the panic.

    ^ That's the real problem ^.
    As for us (the people) it won't matter that much. We will read more books, do more sports and will actually meet our skype and facebook friends and go out together. Doing homework will become harder too...

    Nothing would happen. If there IS internet people want to go on it. But if its lost forever, theres not point desiring something you can never have again. Only dumb people would moan that they have no internet when its gone for good.

    I lost my internet for 2 months one time, when i played xbox and went on my pc near constantly at school. Infact it was for the better, i didnt care, i started jogging and boxing, so i was occupado.

    I'd be saddened but it would also give me time to stop procrastinating so I could write without any distractions. I would really hate for the internet to crash, though. There would be chaos.
