What does looking like anime girl mean?

Most men ive dated has complimented me that I "look like an anime girl". I hate anime. The acting is too over the top and it's cartooned. What does this mean?!

    Isn't that like the hottest trend right now, to look like an anime girl? Everyone under 25 seem to strive for that E-girl look nowadays.

      I've been told this since I was in high school close to 10 years ago. I dont know what kids want to look like these days. E-girl seems to be emo girls but sexualized

    Are you skinny, got a small nose, big eyes, long lashes, pouty lips, and really long hair? My big sister was like this in her 20's and people would tell her she looked like an anime girl. XD

      I am skinny and got long lashes. My hair is typically short though and I dont know about the other features. I think i'm overall average

        If people keep seeing an anime girl you probably have a couple of cartoony features. These days people find features like that attractive. There's nothing wrong with being attractive. My sister wishes people still found her attractive. Enjoy it while you still can.

    also i completely respect your opinion about anime it isnt for everyone

    it also reminds me of how people at uni tells my friend how she acts like yui hirasawa just because she so happens to be of japanese decent
