What happens during a physical?

So in order for me to go through a procedure I have to do, they want me to go through a physical, now call it stupid but exactly what happens during a physical and the kind of questions I might be asked because I have no idea what goes down during them.

Let’s just say that I have to be asleep while they take out my wisdom teeth however they want me to go through a physical first, which I have no idea what it is and what they do during it.
