I'm just wondering what happened to those "popular people" from high school. They always seemed to be the ones with the most friends, but they never really cared abut school. So were their social skills put to good use? Or did they fail from their academics? Please tell me what happened to them.

The 'popular' females that I've met, who were nasty to other girls, are all fat, ugly, divorced hags :o) Karma!!
People like to think that their lives always go down the toilet as some kind of revenge fantasy, especially if they treated you poorly. But, in reality, since karma doesn't actually exist, they go on to make the same choices as everyone else.
Some get ugly, some stay attractive.
Some get rich, some get average pay, some are impoverished.
Some are nice, some are assholes.
Some went to college and partied till their brains got fried, some kept it minimal and graduated with honors.
We tend to notice the ones who failed the most and were the assholes which is why everyone recounts these types of stories. Deep down we all have the worst wishes for the ones who made our lives hell.
To be honest, when I was in highschool, the main typical chav that had all the friends and messed about done very well in most of his classes. I think the whole idea that the popular kids never go anywhere is just in movies to make the not so popular people feel like they can achieve far greater than the popular kids, they can, but the popular kid could be just as good.
I don't remember where, but I've read an article that says people who were popular in Highschool have a good chance at becoming successful. Same goes for people who drink. I don't know. Doesn't seem to make sense, but oh well.
Not as much rides on schooling as you may think. I think most of them just turned into average joes.
well the "popular" people from my school all became university drop outs and drug addicts.
It depends really doesn't it? Some of the popular kids from my school went on to be quite successful, some didn't. How many friends you have at school isn't an indicator of how you'll succeed in life.
Why care what happens to popular people? All kinds of things could have happened to them, ranging from success to failure and everything in between. And the same thing could have happened to the UNpopular people as well.
And you know what, both of them die as well.
IDK. There are a lot of popular people I knew who also got good grades. So they were well rounded. The most popular people did good in school, were nice and outgoing with anyone they encountered, and were good looking (mostly).
For the ones who are assholes and don't do well in school I think something has to happen in their life for them to realize that they need to get in together.
I think I was the most popular shy person in school.. XD
