Lost interest in fashion and expensive name brands. I just wear plain T-shirts and jeans. Saves me money, time, and energy.
Debating on the internet in general (for the most part). people rarely change their minds and that’s fine anyway, people are free to think and feel whatever they want, it’s their actions that determine their character. And most people who say nasty shit online are just being edgy / playing devils advocate for attention, rarely interact the same way with the world in reality (or at all) so it’s not a big deal.
I have outgrown everything I ever used to enjoy. It's called depression.
The opinion that racism, misogyny, and Anti-LGBTQ is "bad".
At the end of the day, these are just negative opinions. Opinions targeted towards groups of people, sure, but still just an opinion. Big deal.
Not everyone is going to accept/like someone else. This is no different when it comes to racism, misogyny, and anti-LGBTQ. Not every man is going to view women positively, not every person is going to accept and view a particular race/ethnic group as "equal", and not every person is going to accept the LGBTQ community. It is what it is. Screaming about acceptance and whining to twitter is certainly not going to change anything. Either you can move on and accept this fact, or you can dwell on it and cry about it on the internet. It's up to you.
Also, why does it even matter what someone thinks on a particular group of people? From what I can tell, what someone else thinks is completely irrelevant. P.s. if it doesn't affect you, why do you even care?
Misogyny, racism, and anti-LGBTQ are always going to exist, whether people like it or not. You can't get rid of these "problems". Again, either you can accept this and get over it, or you can dwell on it, and in that case, you're just affecting yourself.
Point is, it really is not that serious. Caring about any of this is pointless.
I used to be really into guitars. And I was really good. And I lost the passion for it.
I don’t do long stitch or cross stitch anymore. Used to enjoy it when I was a kid.
One opinion I grew out of is that looks aren't everything. They definetly are. I get treated waaaaay better now at 117 pounds than I did when I was 200 pounds. Sometimes I wish I had a time machine and one of the things I'd do is kick early 20's me in the head and tell her to slim the fuck down. I'd also tell her to stop being so scared of people and that 401ks exist. Lol
