What in your opinion are some traits that indicates high intelligence

Self reflection, ability to admit when wrong, openness to other views or experiences, ability to adapt, change, see beyond the obvious or exterior. Not react but respond.

They know the difference between your, yours, and you're.

Age, if you're over 40 or 50 you must have at least a minimum amount of brain function, or you wouldn't have made it to that point.

Being creative yet practical, always looking how to improve things, being down-to-earth when explaining ideas or situations, a lot of real-life experience

I love how virtually every answer contains things that do not require, nor indicate, much intelligence at all.

Being well-spoken and emotionally mature

Basically the amount of knowledge they possess. But even intelligent people can make bad decisions and reach bad conclusions.
