    how many fucking military experts or historians do you know on this site? at best you;ll just get some pseudo-intellectual noise from arm-chair generals who think they're the next napoleon cuz of videogames or some shit.

      The honest answer is that it depends entirely on the geographical area of the battlefield, if it's in home territory, how well liked the sides are, both domestically and internationally. Very little of the deciding factor is about technology or numbers.

      Tatics and strategy solve for both.

    Go play escape from tarkov. Do a couple runs with quality ammo and some with an abundance of shitty ammo. You'll figure it out pretty quick

    Depends on the level of quality/amount of quantity, there's been battles where a few top notch well equipped soldiers beat thousands of less trained & equipped soldiers (I.E the battle of the 300 spartans) & there's been examples of the opposite (I.E USA vs Germany in WW2 specifically in tank battles, Germany's where bigger, tougher & stronger but the USA made 100's by the bundle & over whelmed them)

    Quality, until a certain point. It doesn't matter how good your army is is it's 1,000 people versus 1,000,000 people.

    Quantity can over-run quality if it gets large enough. Up to that point Quality wins almost every time just due to superior tactics.

    The art of war is changing just like it did in ww1 then ww2 then vietnam and ect. Some military experts believe aircraft carriers may be realitively ineffective in todays world with long range missiles. USA is not such a unstoppable force is some believe it is.

    Depends if you are attacking or defending.

    Attacking you need the quality advantage as well as a quantity advantage.

    Defensively you can be deficient in both and still come victorious.

    Quality and quantity isnt mutually exclusive.
