What is maturity in your opinion ?

A large part of being mature is the ability to handle criticism and use it to better yourself.

Being aware of the correct way in which to behave, knowing what kinds of behavior are childish and avoiding them. Acting in a manner which is both respectable and responsible.

Maturity isn't, in my opinion, letting the child in you die and growing up into a bore. It's merely a state of being aware of what is immature and what is not.

Knowing how to act when you’re in certain places. If you are in a library you should be quite as everyone else is. When you’re in line at a store don't have a fit and make noises because you feel that the line is moving to slow. If you are in a packed parking lot and you see someone backing into an empty spot, don't steal their space. Don't make excuses or try to lie when you've already been caught. Basically remember all the things you and your friends did as little kids and suppress your urge to do those things until you get home where you are free to bitch and moan and/or act like the little asshole that you are.

Maturity is the ability to mind one's own business and make sure to check oneself before making a hypocritical/delusional comment about someone else.

I think you are mature when other people's opinions of you don't matter. You can go anywhere you like and do anything you want without needing a friend to hold your hand.

Maturity is just a state of mind. That being said i find it alot more fun to be immature

I think maturity is someone who can act appropriately in certain situations, can admit their wrong and attempt to fix it, give respect to those who deserve it, and treat others the right way.

Maturity in my eyes is needing the ability to stand up for yourself, and not hold grudges for the little things! You need to take responsibility for your actions, and be truthful to the pupils around you.

to me, being mature is doing the right thing at the right time because it the right thing to do, not because its forced upon you to do it.

I think maturity is being responsible, knowing right from wrong, knowing how to handle yourself or the situation when things get rough, and teaching others what you know is right, and about your own life experiences.

I think it's a term that explains little as what is mature to one isn't the same for another.

You can't just pick one of those options because yo can't be mature with just one of those options.
