I think it depends on the person. I've seen small ones on some people as early as their teens, depending on how big they're smiling. I have small ones when I smile, and looking back at my old pictures, they seemed to appear around 2019, when I was 24. Before that, there was a small line in the outer corners of my eyes when I smiled for as far back as I can remember, but not fully crow's feet. I have the type of eyes that squint when I smile, so I'm sure that has played into it somewhat.

The ironic thing is that I remember being excited when I got them because I thought they were cute and accentuated my smile! 🤣 I still think that, but I had no clue at that time that they were something most people worry about and try to prevent/get rid of.

I've noticed that most people I know in my general age range (I'm 27) have the small ones that aren't that noticeable, but appear when you smile. You won't really notice them unless you are looking for them. For the larger ones, I think those come later on, though I'm not sure at exactly what age. I've seen those mostly on 50-somethings.

If you're worried about getting them, or the age you're getting them at, don't. They're completely natural, and are essentially a sign that you have spent a lot of time smiling and laughing, which can't be a bad thing! Like I said, I've always personally thought they accentuate a person's smile and actually add to a person's appearance rather than detract from it. The beauty industry is specifically designed to make us feel insecure about totally normal and natural features so that we spend tons of money on their products and procedures trying to prevent/get rid of them, and those professionally taken photos of models and such are heavily edited and airbrushed. Another thing is that we notice our flaws much more than other people, as we pay much closer attention to ourselves than they do of us (everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to pick out every little flaw on someone else), we see ourselves on a daily basis while they typically don't, and we are the ones examining our faces inches away from the mirror while most people never get that close to us. I wouldn't sweat it!

Shit right now (24) I dont know if it's because I already got "asian eyes" or that I don't moisturize but honestly it doesnt impact my look any differently.

I'm in my early 30s, I spend most of my time indoors, and I take zero care of my skin. I don't have them at all yet. I always thought it was more of a 40s or 50s thing. Maybe race comes into play?

It's supposedly when a person is in their 30s, though it really depends on the person's lifestyle. I've known people who drank alcohol a lot and or did drugs a lot. Some of them got crows feet, nasolabial folds, and a very noticeable loss of collagen in their mid 20s. I've also seen people age in their mid 20s from being stressed out, having an improper diet, or being out in the sun too much. XD

Depends a lot on lifestyle, genes and how well you take care of your skin.

I’ve noticed that the bottom half of people’s faces tends to age before the top half, they get nasolabial folds in their early 30s.

I imagine it has went up in recent years purely due to the number of people who spend most of their time indoors, but my guess is still in the 30s.
