    Depends on the breed of snake and the age of the snake. For smaller breeds such as Colubrids and ball pythons, they eat ranging from size: feeder pinkies (when they're young) to large feeder adult rats(when they're older). For larger snakes such as red tailed boas and Burmese pythons, they can eat feeder rabbits to feeder chickens.

    Always feed the snake a meal that is slightly larger than it's girth and avoid feeding too large a meal as that risks the chance of regurgitation.

    If you feed your snake a puppy or a kitten, you're just sick.
