But in another instance I was taking a turn in a subdivision at 60mph and I hit a school bus, the bus hit another car and the car hit another car. Honestly, it was a little over 90. At the time I was never late for work a single time in my life and I didn't want to start being late. That 2015 Nissan Versa Note held up surprisingly well. I miss that car. XD

well over 135... The last I looked at the speedometer it was at 135 and climbing... and I was too busy driving to look later as there was a curve and oncoming traffic.

Stupid thing to do in that car with normal tires in the 1970's (which could have easily blown).

I now maintain high speed rated tires on my and my wife's car (and have done so for about 35 years) so I know that the tires will not give out by being driven faster than they are rated for. Just never been in a car that had as much power as that early 1970's muscle car, so that fast has not been achievable. But, I have been up to 120 in my current car.

I think the fastest I've ever driven in a car was about 120 MPH. When I was 21 I had a boyfriend who had a muscle car, and insisted that I drive it on the freeway, but I don't remember what it was as far as make, and model goes.

287kmh (178mph) in my modded E420 Mercedes. I know I can reach 300kmh with that car, but I didn't have the opportunity for a proper speed run last summer, so I haven't beaten my record.

And my wife hates anything faster than 140kmh (87mph, Emmet Brown frowns at this)
