I want to go off the beaten path and get a unique passport stamp. I am from the States. Where should I travel to?

    There's so many crazy places in the world, so it depends on what kinda trip you want, but IMO, the big mack daddy of crazy places- the one place I can think of, where, if someone told me they'd travelled there, I would say "holy shit! Noooo fucking way!!!" Is...Antarctica

    Plus it's gonna melt & shit, so it won't be there 4ever. Get it while it's cold.

        I don't think most countries even DO stamps anymore. At least not where I've traveled to lately- everything was automated at customs. I know I asked for one in Australia & NZ both & they said they don't even have them anymore (lame). I think I miiiiiight have gotten one in denpasar in Indonesia, but I can't remember.

        But yeah, that's a good point since you'd have to get to that continent by boat from another country.

            That would be really, really cool & different, especially if you're into architecture & history. I tend to gravitate towards, empty nature-y places.

            Ooo, what about Nepal or maybe Romania (it's supposed to be stunning there & it would be so cool to tell people that you vacationed in Transylvania!!)...sidetracked...there's way too many cool places to go.

              I don't know what empty nature-y means, but yes i love places that are meeting places of multicultures, more so than places that are absent like Antarctica.

    Isle of Wight off the southern coast of the UK, you won’t get a passport stamp but Compton Bay is (for me) the most beautiful part of the UK.

    I’ve been there 14 times and never met an American accented person so you would be a novelty.

        I didn’t mean the festival, I ment more the national trust beaches, piers for crabbing, thatched roof pubs and the delicious fudge. Some places on the island are very old fashioned and determined to stay that way, it feels like dropping back into the early 1900s.
