What is time?
The concept of time is based on mankind’s observation of the sun, the moon and the stars.
Take away all of these.
Now what time is it?

If a tree falls in a Forrest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?.. Time is just a word to measure our existence on this planet. What was time considered 20 mil years ago?..

Part of me wonders if on a much larger scale there's just like pure energy or something
Bacteria and protons are both really small, almost like on two dimensional scale, maybe moreso for bacteria
And here we are three dimensionally

Space and time are interwoven together
If you take out the sun, moon, and stars, and I'm assuming space as well, then there wouldn't be time
There would be no trip from point a to b since there's no place for a and b to exist, no perspective of origin. You wouldn't even be able to tell if you were right side up or not, assuming you could live without oxygen, water, and food
On a human scale, time is just the passage from one moment to the next. There's more than just the sun, moon, and stars to observe changes in. Just try to hold onto the current moment for as long as you can. The authenticity of that moment having ended will only grow exponentially the more you hold out
