What is/was your hell in school?

My hell started when I was 7 in a school called St.Alexanders.... Naming the school just makes me feel pissed! It started during my 2nd grade year.

Let's just say my 2nd grade teacher was literally the incarnation of evil.... She sent me to detention with hard as hell math questions, from just having a stomachache! Additionally, she sent me to the principal's office numerous of times for little to no reason. Like "oh biggie" I put fruit in my tubes (yogurt) and a student complained about it!

That's not the worst part of it. My entire school hated or at least they were highly suspicious of me. Why? Probably cause the fact that I was still highly autistic at the time. For example; the head of the learning assistance center questioned, no ACCUSED me of stealing animal figurines! Like, no I obviously didn't because I used to bring Pokemon stuff (plushies, figures) to school! Not to mention my cousin was a royal bitch and kept screwing with my emotions. Ps: I used to be best friends with her even know she treated me like dirt!

If I ever have kids, I'll NEVER reccomend this school! This school was highly toxic to my emotions and self esteem.

I know it's in the past, but this is why I get anxiety attacks if I get in trouble for the slightest thing.

My first grade teacher was a cunt. A lot of kids wrote with their head down kinda close to the desk and she would come behind you and pull your hair to lift your head up. And she yelled at a girl for throwing up on the floor. What a bitch.

I never cared for it, but way back when, I was good at it. I was even asked to be a math tutor in college. I said no and dropped out shortly after. Now I don't know shit! I can do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with a few fractions converted to decimals, and percentages...but x plus y times that equals z.....fuck that noise!!!

I guess first and second grade... The teacher was an Armenian bitch that hated me and for some reason loved the kid that would tease me and bully me, who was also Armenian. The teacher would regularly give me a time out, or give me extra homework, make up shit and call my parents, etc... My mom and dad got suspicious, thinking their son can't be that bad and visited class one time.

I was there, unable to answer a question the teacher asked me, a question that is probably for 6th graders, or whatever. She got angry and gave me a big slap in the face. At that moment my parents walked in. My mom was shocked in place and my dad raised hell. That teacher was then fired for assaulting a child. But her favorite student, the top of the class... smug Armenian bastard continued to be an annoyance.

It wasn't up until 4th grade, where my dad taught me how to fight against bullies and stand up for myself, I took matters into my own hands. Beat up that POS and then I could be just another regular kid at school.

I got my own revenge against my old teacher too... Saw her one time, back in 2014 in my home town walking near a puddle. I was in my car... you know what's gonna happen. Foot hard down, slash through the puddle at speed, covering my ex-teacher in dirty water. I then hit the brakes, backed up, rolled down the window and said:
"Remember me, the poor fuck you bullied in school? Well, take a look at yourself, you look like an old, filthy wet rag! What are you gonna do? Call the police, bitch I got money! You can't do shit!"

Thinking back, I could have handled that better and with more class, but that's what came out of my stupid 18 year old brain at the time. But yeah, most of school for me was just school. I hated homework and nothing else.

Pretty much the whole thing, honestly. But, junior high and high school were by far the worst. I'm not even sure I even want to get into the details, as even talking about it is exhausting.

The gist of it is that I was misdiagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, anxiety, and depression at around 12 or 13 and subsequently medicated with antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds that completely changed me into a depressed zombie with no energy, who always felt hopeless and constantly fantasized about death. I also gained weight on the meds and got made fun of for being fat, and I was already a dork everyone made fun of to begin with. I was treated like I was mentally retarded pretty much and told I was too stupid to recognize my own feelings, and that I'd never be able to take care of myself. I nearly ended my life because I was so miserable.

But, joke's on those doctors, teachers, and bullies. I'm now 25, highly successful for my age, am making it on my own just fine (and much better than the kids who they fawned over and compared me to by saying I should be more like them), I got off the meds, lost the weight, and got some confidence, and most of all am happy.

(High School) Chemistry. I really despised the stuff, concepts of organic chemistry (especially 3d cis-trans-cyclical benzanoic molecules), spectroscopy, ligand exchange, etc, and all such craps. I had to stay late at night to study those copying trying to memorize notes. Physics, Mathematics, Biology I understood and passed with ease, but did poorly in my Chemistry board exam despite all the effort. At college I studied stuffs I actually found interesting and enjoyed and earned top grades on like Sociology and Anthropology, studying different societies and cultures, etc. my friends and I led teams and did case studies and tours across many places. College life was amazing. I graduated with really high cgpa. High School was filled with many drama and terrible shits (including drug and sex scandals), but the worst thing academically speaking was Chemistry.

This is strictly academic, I really don't feel like talking about all the crazy nonsensical shits that happen in the junk of a place that is HS, had many horrible experiences (like I vaguely mentioned drug and sex scandals), though few good and memorable stuffs too...

      Edit:

Btw I assumed you were talking about High School only. Well Elementary School and Middle School ere all good to me, little innocent me, surrounded by friends playing around, getting rewards doing my home works right, being motivated, looking for a bright future, having my first kiss at 2nd grade and her being the one to tell me she liked me..., memorable times idolizing my favorite football hero Romario (Brazil) and scoring goals after goals in my shcool soccer games. I had many bad childhood experiences but those were not at school (school was rather safe heaven from bad stuffs that had happened). Until High School I actually loved school.

Ever since kindergarten when the grade scale was green, yellow or red, I was always red or yellow. I just never did well. So I was always terrified of going to school and coming home bc my parents were Very strict. And rightfully so to expect me to get good grades.

As far a social abilities, I’m a fucking butterfly. I can hang with anyone. Always have been this way.

I don’t personally hold the teachers accountable. It’s really the system that they simply have to abide by. The system really only caters to a few different ways of learning. It’s just not for everyone.

I am an autistic too so I have these adult supervisors in my middle school who come to my class and watch me and the other special needs. There is this one Vietnamese bitch who I hate so much, she was the reason why I was so close to committing suicide.

This bitch was snooping around my desk and found my notebook with suicidal and depressed stuff in the very back page. She reported it to the school, and I was embarrassed as hell to explain to the school counselor. That shit didn't help me at all, just gave me embarrassment.

She has a unfriendly attitude to all kids so I never heard anyone who said that she is their favorite.

Once she found what you had written she had a duty of care to report it. If you had actually harmed yourself and it ever came out that she had read that stuff and not reported it she would have been in more trouble than you could even imagine.

I understand that but she could of talked to me first about it, instead of letting the school counselor, my parents, and my teachers know about my personal problems.

She could of asked me if I want help or this is just some 'edgy' phase that I am going through.

I am sure that some adults had that 'edgy' phase in their teenage years and didn't commit suicide.

You made a really good point there though.

        • RoseIsabella

Nope, she was required by law to report it. Edgy phase, or not staff are required to report this kinda stuff. They have no way of knowing whether, or not a student is serious even if the student says they're not serious they're required to report it, because they can't take chances.

Probably still does.

Probably my senior year when they forced me into normal classes.

Before then I was always in the 1 C.D.C class my school had (didn't even eat lunch with the rest of the school), after about 9 fights in 5 weeks they put me back. Why they didn't expel me? Only reason I can think of is they thought I was retarded.

7th and 10th grade were the worst. Mostly from bullying.

The place I went to middle school, I always and still call it "... middle finger" instead of middle school.

Like when I talk about one store I like, I will tell my room mate, "I also want to stop by the thrift store across from .... middle finger"

Gyod that place just sucked a fuckin dick. I mean the teachers acted like it was a prison, the science teacher was some drunk redneck, we had a fatso gym teacher who was capable of only yelling and screaming non stop, some special class called "I can" which was suppose to be some motivational class for positive attitude. The woman who taught that class looked like Alice Cooper in drag and crouched like she had scoliosis, One art teacher who was so fat that she had smaller women orbiting her,

Just the expected middle school crap. YET, my personal life during those years, outside of school, were probably the best ones I ever had.

We had some justice in my school so I can't complain much. A teacher got his license revoked for trying to get his female students to stay after class to "massage" them. We did have a bit of bullying but it was mostly outside of where I hung out I stayed in the photography block and refused to leave the class to the point the teacher just left me in there in charge of thousands of dollars worth material I was probably his favourite student in hindsight but that was because I had a fairly clean record and kept to myself. So I assume he trusted in me to not let people come near me or his precious cameras

I've never really liked physical education, I had my own athletic activities like ballet, martial arts, and marching band. I've never been much of a team sports person, and I probably never will be. Most of the athletic activities promoted in physical education are team sports.

  • SkullsNRoses

My hell in school was team sports, I hate working with other people, you tell them what to do and they don’t listen, then when you ignore them right back you’re “letting the team down”. The anger, the stupid referees, the physical aggression, it was all bullshit. This was all played outside even in the windy rainy UK winters, but god forbid I didn’t feel like playing sports with a bunch of cunts in the freezing downpour. I’m “letting the team down!”.

The number of lectures I got from primary and secondary school teachers about my poor participation, they spoke as if they were in a movie scene trying to inspire me to win the Olympics, it was ridiculous.

They tried threats as well as encouragment, when I was 15 a PE teacher once told me he would “have a word with [my] mum” about how I didn’t try in Softball. Because in the middle of her child’s GCSEs that’s what she was going to lose sleep over. The funniest moment was when one PE teacher wrote on my school report that my basket ball was a “cause for concern”.

I think it bothered them so much because I was physically fit, I just didn’t want to play their stupid games.

Yeah the first 9 years were hellish. I got bullied by all the girls in my class, and only in my class too. I have no clue in retrospect why I never asked to switch to a different class but I guess I was too embarrassed about it. And the teachers pretty much blamed me for it and said that if I was less shy and was more tough and social they would treat me better. So that worked wonders for my confidence of course.. Then when I got to high school it was very different. Loved high school even though I mostly kept to myself like the introvert I am and with the anxiety I had developed by then, but I liked everyone and they liked me. Teachers were alright too.
