Arabic and Hebrew. Though traditionally considered to be a boy's name, some considered it to be unisex, as there are females with this name. The same could be said about my current first name. There's no need to get worked up over the gender.

Meri, with an "er" sound like cherry and not an "ar" sound like Mary, but most Americans can't hear the difference.

Accepted etiquette dictates that the plebeians address you as Countess. I was reminded of this formality by the Duke and Dutchess of Enema late one evening in Bombay while refreshing my glass of gin & quinine as I was accompanying the late Baroness of Cornhole.

Now smile & wave my dear. Smile & wave.

Those two can't be trusted. They spend too much time canoodling with celebrity orifices.

It's always so embarrassing to get a canoodle lodged in an orifice and have to be whisked away on a gurney. Thank heavens for the discretion of Indian physicians.
Should you ever find yourself in such a predicament I would highly recommend a certain Dr. Punjab Gupta.

        Thank you :)

When I asked my parents why they named me that, I expected a nice story about a great great grandmother or something, but it turns out they named me after a character on an 80's sitcom starring Michael J. Fox : |

Really? I think it might be Family Ties an old 80's sitcom with Michael J Fox, I think it could have been the character names of one of his 2 sisters.

Total embarrassment for me that I know this. :P

    Cristian.

I actually like my name. In the past I disliked it because it's affiliated to religion. I stopped caring; the t sounds like cz, like Czech. That phonology gives it some appeal.

I've never gone by Chris. I've grown so used to being called by my name I would feel off-put getting that nickname. Chris sounds appropriate for a teenager, although not for an employee and significant other. That's just my opinion.

I really like the name Cristian/Christian. Even though I don't like religion at all I don't associate it with someone who has that name, I just think its a very nice name.

And peep at her when she is undress, And start to progress, to touch myself with finesse

But i degrees, from the fact that Tess, is a Girl to Impress

Spencer. I plan to get my whole name changed. I like my first name but, it doesn't suit me or represent me any longer, if that makes sense. I'm planning on changing my first to "Salem", which can also considered to be a unisex name.

Traditionally, it's considered to be a male name. However, in modern times, it's considered to be unisex.
