My favorite anime has to be Fullmetal Alchemist, hands down, though Kamisama Hajimemashita has to be a close second.
lol obvious yours is Rurouni Kenshin as it totally obscure compared to the rest on the list (if not please correct me)
but mine is probably RE:Zero.. maybe. I have a list of favs: GTO, angel beats, your lie in april, one punch man, danmachi, death parade (just to name a few). but yeah, those are my main favs
So you basically ask this question and list a bunch of garbage series (Except for Rurouni Kenshin and AoT, but the latter is overrated).
I'm just going to list a bunch that I like, since I don't necessarily have a "favourite"
Kyousougiga, Parasyte: The Maxim, Steins;Gate, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Shinsekai Yori, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, FMA (2003 and Brotherhood), Re:Zero, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Psycho Pass, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Your Lie In April, Clannnad, Death Parade, FLCL, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad
I'm sure I can think of more, but I'm tired. There's better anime than the crap that's popular.
I'm not an anime fan really. I watched a few episodes of the well-known ones: Attack On Titan, Sword Art Online, Ouran High School Host Club. I've gotten so many recommendations from people on what to watch, but I haven't gotten the chance to watch any.
Like lotsa anime DBZ, Mirai Nikki, Kenshin, Maison Ikkoku, Touch, Fushigi Yuugi and others whose names I am forgetting.
Any I don't have to watch. I've had hardcore anime fans insist I would like it if I'd just watch... (fill in the blank) anime. It never works theres always things that apparently you have to just have to accept without explanation like characters that were normal enough a minute ago suddenly doing superhuman things and the storylines seems incomprehesibly dull. Maybe its a lack of understanding or caring about japanese culture on my part. I think some of the art is nice but the actual animation seems complete crap but maybe thats becos of seeing so much disney animation which is amazing by comparison.
My funniest anime story is a friend was playing one of the grand theft auto games and apparently you can watch tv in the game which in itself is pretty funny but anyway one of the programs is a anime called Princess Robot Bubblegum and he or I guess his character was watching it. I walked in the room saw there was anime on the tv (it filled up the whole screen basically) so I just rolled my eyes and flopped down on the couch. It had like nearly every bad anime trope ever... And I didn't realize it was a scathing parody of anime.
So its on for a while and I finally asked when he was going to be done watching it. He looked at me picked up the game controller and said whenever I decide to do another mission. And suddenly the view changes and his character gets up off the couch and runs out of the room. It was so bad it was funny and I had no idea it wasn't real.
That is a anime I might actually watch if it were real. If anyone has a YouTube link that would be awesome I've never been able to find it.
I haven't watched anime since I was about ten but dragonball z was good if that counts
